We have four different basket designs in stock, each with buttery-soft carry handles finished in sustainably-sourced goat’s leather. Since we all know that you can’t rush a masterpiece, every woven baby basket takes three days to complete - and they’re made by the same talented group that make our lovely bicycle baskets and square and rectangular storage baskets.
We search far and wide to partner with the very best weaving cooperatives across Africa, and we’re delighted to be offering greater volumes of work to these superb weavers with new orders for these colourful Moses baskets.

Striking black stripes and tribal-inspired blocks on a natural sisal base, with matching black goat’s leather carry handles.

Whilst the majority of Moses baskets you’ll find on the High Street are woven and mass produced from wicker or palm leaf, ours are made veta vera grass which grows wild and abundant in Ghana. This robust grass is incredibly sturdy when woven, making for Moses baskets of beautiful balance and structural integrity. Each basket is supplied with a quilted, hypoallergenic foam mattress with a washable cover for blissful baby dreaming.
